Via eerdere e-mails zijn onze patiënten geïnformeerd over het cyberincident bij softwareleverancier ChipSoft. ChipSoft is de leverancier van ons elektronisch patiëntendossier.
Er is ondertussen een onafhankelijk onderzoek afgerond. Hieruit blijkt dat er op 5 april 2026 een back-up bestand is buitgemaakt met mogelijk persoonsgegevens, waaronder medische gegevens. De back-up was versleuteld en niet direct leesbaar. Er zijn geen aanwijzingen dat de aanvallers de bestanden daadwerkelijk hebben kunnen inzien.
De aanvaller heeft verklaard de buitgemaakte bestanden te hebben verwijderd. Experts achten dat geloofwaardig, maar absolute zekerheid bestaat niet. Wees extra alert op verdachte e-mails, sms’jes of telefoontjes. Deel nooit uw wachtwoord of pincode en klik niet zomaar op linkjes of bijlagen.

Via earlier emails we have informed our patients about the cyber incident at software supplier ChipSoft. ChipSoft is the supplier of our electronic patient record.An independent investigation has been carried out. This shows that a backup file was captured on April 5, 2026 with possible personal data, including medical data. The backup was encrypted and not immediately readable. There are no indications that the attackers were actually able to view the files.The attacker has stated that he has deleted the captured files. Experts consider this credible, but absolute certainty does not exist. Be extra alert to suspicious emails, text messages or phone calls. Never share your password or PIN code and do not just click on links or attachments.
